Nielson Contracting is a husband-and-wife business working a patch of the Waikato we know well. Roy is on the machine and the two of us run the business together, so your job is quoted, booked and finished by the same small team. On a rural site that matters more than it sounds: no subcontractor reading your plans for the first time, and no passing the buck if the levels are out.

Why family-run matters on a rural job

Farm and lifestyle-block work rarely goes exactly to plan. Ground is wetter than expected, a service turns up where no one drew it, stock need moving before the machine can cross. When the people on site own the business, those calls get made on the spot instead of going back through an office.

The region

Based in Hamilton, New Zealand, working across the Waikato region — Hamilton and the surrounding districts, town sections through to farms well off the seal. If you are not sure whether your place is in range, ring and ask.

Whatever the job calls for, we turn up with the right gear for it — tight-access work on a town section through to bulk earthworks across a paddock.
